Handcarved and Handpainted Vintage Wooden Angel with Glass Eyes
Beautiful hand carved and handmade vintage wooden angel. This wonderful piece has been hand painted and has glass eyes.
I have collected these for years and they are typically made by master craftsmen in the Philippines. This angel has aged with a perfection only time can offer.The wood has surface cracks and separations which is something I have always sought out. The paint has been chipped and distressed through time and the angel wings are not symmetrical which is also something that adds to it's magic.
The eyes are the best part. Always made with pieces of hand painted thin glass which
brings it to life. Love this amazing angel!!
