Small Antique Swiss 1873 Chiantel Fondeur Saignelegier Solid Bronze Cow or Goat Bell
A fabulous authentic original 1878 Chiantel Fondeur Saignelegier solid bronze cowbell from Switzerland.
This is a smaller sized bell and one that is not often found.
A bell was actually worn by smaller livestock, probably young cows or goats.
This bell is in wonderful condition and has the beautiful rich patina of age.
The sound of this bell is amazing and crystal clear. The bronze is clearly stamped with the date and the name of the foundry. Attached to the top of the bell is where a
leather strap was tied is forged out of iron.
A great smaller antique bell and very collectible. Very special indeed.
