This fabulous antique stoneware jar that once held anchovy paste from the London company Burgess.
The little Prattware crock jar that held England's infamous potted meat is in excellent condition.
There is a lovely ironstone crackling in the antique glaze. These jars are highly prized and very collectable.
This Burgess's genuine anchovy paste jar complete with original lid.
Excavated from old dump sites in England. This one has small crazing to the lid and the base. This item has been dug out of the ground and the condition of the piece reflects that. It also makes it very beautiful. Please expect slight imperfections.
A wonderful vintage piece of a British tradition of old.
