Hand Painted Concrete Resin Angel with a Handmade Metal Crown with Crosses and Jewel Embellishments
A spectacular angel statue made from concrete dust and resin and hand painted with special textured paints. We used a copper wax to highlight locks of hair, lips and wings and then washed the entire angel in a rich walnut stain.
We have added a layering of vintage jewels, brass crosses, and rhinestones. The cherub is also adorned with a cross and compass down his back. A sparkling rhinestone cup chain supports one cross and the compass. A handmade Czech rosary bead Chain supports the other crosses.
The angel is holding a copper lizard and a rhinestone turtle in his hand with an endearing look that is fixated on the tiny sparkling creatures.
We have added a handmade a magnificent rusted silver lace metal crown heavily layered and adorned with jewels, rhinestones, and topped off with a brass English Lion Crest.
This piece is so very special and a one of a kind. The specific found embellishments used to create this piece can never be duplicated since many are vintage.
