A nostalgic bit of French department of labor history. This is a vintage French medal given to N. Joffre in 1985 to honor
30 years of service. The pewter silver medal is stamped "Ministere Du Travail ~ Honor Travail" which translates to
"Ministry Of Labor ~ Honor Work"
These medals were given to honor an individual for their years of service or work.
The medal is stamped by the medalist "Borrell". The medal also has the number 1 indicating the medal is of silver construction.
