A stunning vintage taxidermy rooster in all his glory. This is an exceptional specimen of a Rusty Dark Dun colored Hackle Chicken with creams, duns & brown coloring with brassy overtones and natural sheen. He is a fabulous specimen and has a myriad of colors shimmering through his feathers. His comb and wattle are perfection and the
greatest of care was taken mounting this beautiful bird.
The feathers from a male chicken have been used for decades for fly fishing lures.
Like fingerprints each rooster is unique and one of a kind with it's own beautiful colors and fabulous hackles.
I have a soft spot in my heart for chickens and have always had them around my house both inside and out.
This rooster would be perfect on a country table as a centerpiece!!
