Oriental Toothpaste Ceramic Jar and Lid from the late 19'th Century England
An original rare antique porcelain Oriental Toothpaste Jar & lid from the late 19th century.
Jewsbury and Brown Chemists were found at 113 Market Street of Ardwick Green, Manchester England.
The company sold drinks in Lancashire and beyond from 1826 until it was merged with Schweppes in 1964. Their main address was Ardwick St Manchester, but they had other locations as the company grew. They began producing Oriental Tooth Paste in 1869.
The jar and lid are in great condition for their age. There is a slight chip on the top edge but I feel it only ads to the antique and it's history.
