A very old rare Junghans Bravo working alarm clock for the early 1930's. This was one of the early wind up alarm clocks made by the German clock maker and it has one key and still works beautifully. It has a rusted and worn appearance adds to the vintage retro look of this very collectible alarm clock. These early alarm clocks are sometimes referred to as 'first republic' clocks.
On 14 April 1861 Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law found the clock component factory Zeller & Junghans. For the location of the factory they choose a site in the Lauterbachtal valley. The company made many different kinds of clocks and watches through the years. Their clock works are considered some of the finest.
