Spectacular Antique British Heraldic Stag Hunting Horn from the Late 1800's
A very special English find! This is an English Stag Hunting Horn probably circa 1860-1880. This piece is made from polished cow horn, with all original brass and nickle mounts.
It bears a central heraldic mount depicting a stags' head cartouche surrounded by laurel leaves and has two original suspension loops tied with it's time worn original green cord and tassels.
A great collectible piece for a gentleman's study or a vintage hunting room or the serious hunting collector of fine things. This piece just oozes character and history and we have rarely seen one like it throughout years of collecting.
