A rare find! An incredible antique "The Spotted Ox" pub sign. The Spotted Ox pub was designated one of the original 'Tetley's Heritage Pubs' and is well known in the countryside of Tockwith, York England .
This sign has been well protected for years in a private collection.
The Tetley brewery dates from 1822 and became one of the leading industries in West Yorkshire. The fame of the beer spread far and wide. Tetley Bitter lived up to its name. It was so bitter and hoppy that it made one's eyeballs pop. It was simply amazing.
This is an original very old pub sign that still boasts it's original time worn paint on metal. The sign is wonderfully time worn and has been carefully framed to be hung on the wall with two metal hangers on the back.
A very rare opportunity to own a bit of English history. Very special.
