Beautiful hand carved and handmade vintage wooden angel. This wonderful one of a kind piece has been hand carved and hand painted.
I have collected these for years and they are typically made by master craftsmen in the Philippines. This angel has aged with a perfection only time can offer. The wood has minor surface cracks and which is something I have always sought out. The paint has been chipped and distressed through time. The eyes are the best part and always made with pieces of hand painted thin glass which brings it to life. We have added hand painted tin angel wings adorned with sparkling rhinestone jewels which is also something that adds to it's magic. We also topped the angel head with a tiny bronze jeweled crown.
