A beautifully preserved North American Queen Bee specimen, Bombus Griseocollis. Bombus Griseocollis is a species of bumblebee known commonly as the grey collared bumblebee. It is native to much of the United States except for the Southwest, and to the southernmost regions of several of the provinces of Canada.
This specimen is framed in a black wooden frame shadowbox with a picture hanger added to the back and using glass that is 99% UV blocking museum grade conservation glass to prevent fading. The Insect name & origin is printed on old world style parchment paper using archival and acid free materials.
