A delightful find from one of our recent antique finding excursions. This is a treasure and highly collectible probably from England.
An antique silver and horse hair small silver clothing or dressing brush. The hair on this brush is so very soft.
I would imagine this was originally used by a tailor, a valet or a clothier to remove lint or fibers from a garment.
Probably used by the servant staff to dress the Lord or Lady of the manor.
The repousse silver plate is lovely and in great condition.
